Alexander Maes (Leuven, 1992) has been a lawyer since 2021. He has also part of Hasselt University since 2015.

There, he successfully defended his PhD dealing with psychological vulnerabilities and their relation with questions regarding the end of the employment contract. He is currently appointed as a part-time postdoctoral researcher and is involved in teaching the course of ‘Advanced Employment Law’ about European and International employment law.

He obtained a Master of Law degree from the University of Leuven (2015 – cum laude). Alexander regularly publishes articles in various specialized journals focusing on social law and non-discrimination law.

His working languages are Dutch, English and French.

Alexander joined Reliance Littler in October 2021.
