Reliance Littler welcomes four new partners

03/10/2023

Law firm Reliance Littler announces the arrival of four new associates. These include both internal promotions and reinforcements from outside.

The firm is pleased to confirm the promotion of Stefaan Diels, Yne Machiels and Pierre Van Achter as new partners. Stefaan, Yne and Piere have all been active within the firm for many years.  Their admission to the partnership is the best proof of the team's strength and Reliance Littler's emphasis on internal talent development.

In addition to these internal promotions, Reliance Littler also welcomes Fabienne Raepsaet as a new partner. Fabienne makes the move from law firm Claeys & Engels, where she was counsel.

Fabienne Raepsaet has been a lawyer since 2000 and has more than 23 years of experience in various aspects of collective and individual labour law. Over the years, she developed a particular expertise in civil service law. She is also active in privacy law and is a certified DPO.

Stefaan Diels has been a lawyer since 2004 and handles all aspects of collective and individual labour law as well as social security questions. He has extensive expertise in litigation and assists companies and (semi-)public authorities in day-to-day HR issues.

Pierre Van Achter has been a lawyer since 2005. He advises and defends clients on all questions relating to employment, with a particular interest in restructuring (transfer of undertaking, collective dismissals and closures) and assisting foreign companies intending to start an activity in Belgium.

Yne Machiels has been a lawyer since 2012. She too practices the broad spectrum of individual and collective employment law and social security, and over the years developed an expertise on privacy, international mobility and whistleblowers.

With the addition of Fabienne, Stefaan, Pierre and Yne, the firm now counts eight partners.

Reliance Littler has a team of more than 20 lawyers specialising in all aspects of employment law. As part of Littler, the largest law firm specialising in labour law worldwide, it is firmly established not only locally but also internationally.
